Bill Callahan, new O-Line Coach

Bill Callahan | Dallas CowboysThe Dallas Cowboys have a new O-line coach, Bill Callahan, replacing the retiring Hudson Houck.  The addition of Callahan provides Jason Garrett with an offensive assistant with great experience.
Callahan was the Oakland Raiders’ head coach from 2000-2002, going 15-17, including coaching the in the Super Bowl his first year..  He also spent four seasons as the University of Nebraska’s head coach, going 27-22.

Callahan, who was the Raiders’ offensive coordinator before replacing Jon Gruden as head coach.  He had offenses in Oakland, which led the NFL in rushing in 2000 and passing in 2002.  Callahan has been the New York Jets’ assistant head coach/offensive line coach since coaching at Nebraska. The Jets had an elite rushing attack in Callahan’s first three seasons, leading the NFL in rushing offense in 2009.
